Silverado ext cab Tuning frequency?

Any Silveado Guys out there want to shed some light on best Tuning frequency for SPL in a ext cab Silverado? current set up is Sub up port up on drivers side tuned to 32HZ.

Depending how low tuned the box is, most ext cab silverados peak themselves at 48-54hz. With a musical box, they typically peak 40-46. With a less musical/more SPL you could tune the box at 45 and see amazing numbers right at 50hz.

NICE thanks I am still doing my research on my next box it will be the third one now but i know it takes a few trial and errors to get it right

Chevy man checking in/98 xcab 3dr. 4- 1000rms DVC2ohm 10s,in individual chambers port up/sub up,2.06 cuft @32HTZ, and shes banging just fine

What kind of sub’s are you running and how many? Also depend on box size, Type of box, bracing of truck cabin and so on. Can change ware it is tuned too. My truck it a smaller one peaked around 40 hz in a x-cab. With no cabin bracing, Next step is to brace the cabin of the truck to get more output. Panel flex is lost energy, the more you do the better output becomes.
