hey i've got a modded MTX 1501d powering my ported 12" idmax. i set the gain so that it gets 800 watts. and then ill bump and i notice the sub is lower than it was when i first set it. so i checced with a voltmeter and it was around 49 volts (600 watts). the amp is right next to the sub and i think its vibrating the gain knob down.. so would it be okay if i put silicone sealant on the gain knob to hold it in place and expect to take it off clean later on in the future if i ever wanna sell the amp??
