Signs that alternator/amp/sub is going out?

Are there any tall tale signs that your amp is going out?

Also is it possible to slightly hurt a subwoofer? Like partially blown?

my subwoofer has been sounding funny lately. Like it has a bass extend feature on or something. All the bass seems to blend with itself..idk its hard to explain.

Im trying to figure out if its a loose tinsel lead(ill check tomorrow) or if its my amp going out cerwin vega stroker 1000.1, or if im pulling too much from my alternator and its giving me a low voltage.

im driving a 94 camry with a 150.4 front stage amp and the 1000.1 stroker amp so im def killing my alternator slowly.

sub is sa-12 is custom enclosure.

I wouldn't imagine that the alternator can handle that load. Have you done the Big 3? Also, are your headlights and dash lights dimming? Because if you're getting voltage drop to make the sub sound funny that would certainly be happening as well.

I havnt done the big 3 yet. Im not sure if headlights dim. I know they used but i feel like they dont anymore. I suppose i could hook up my dmm to it and see what i get for a reading.

Check your voltage with car running. If

It's reading 13.8-14.4 at the alt it's fine. Next check impedance on your leads
