well, i've liked two brands, and that is pioneer and sony. before you rag me on the sony let me just say the f7715x is one of the best hu's you can get for the money EVER and there is NO debating that. 24bit burr brown dac, 3 4volt preouts, great sq, pause function, plenty of MP3 settings, looks great. And will last through WW3. Fantastic HU. probably the best they ever built, best anyone ever built for the MONEY. i miss it already. (i can see it fright now if i turn my head right and look up)

And my plenty of pioneers. Let me also add, the only reason they broke down is because of my many wrecks. I remember one paticular wreck (with my 4600) the cd player shot out and was only saved by its wiring harness, it lived to play for a long time. When i finally dropped the face plate enought times on concrete (atleast a dozen times) the lcd broke and i couldn't see shit. but it still played just the same as before. Fantastic units.

Sounds like you have more issues than just the HU.. Sounds like a user problem who doesnt take care of his sh!t... Cuz i had my 8443 in my grand am which was basically used as a work/mileage car ( since i drive 80-90 miles per day just for work ) Would get pounded with drywall dust, dirt sawdust etc.... and still worked top notch.. I think u need to learn how to take care of ur Sh1t

I bought it 2nd hand from Kent (Mrray13). It acted like that from day one. Please infrom myself and the rest of the CA.com community how a CD player's processing time and read time is in anyway related to user error. Or how about it's lack of pause. Although yes its inexcusible its not on a regular basis either. I deal with them literally everday.
I think your referring to RoCKford Fosgate?
