Circuit city boxes are all prefabs for what I know.. Just go to a well known car audio dealer around your area.. show him what your working with and tell him what you wanna do with it (in this case make it louder) He'll prob. suggest a ported box, which in my mind would be the best option for you. Might run ya 150-200$ though =x

in what car is this going in to?, did you figure out if it was a 10" L5? is it just one or two subs?

i wouldnt refer you to go to your local car audio shop. They will just end up hustling you and ask for more money out of you. I suggest ask someone in this forum for help and to build an enclosure for you.

then just put it together. it took my friend and i like an hour and a half this way. it was quite easy. all you gotta do then is cut the square for the speaker and put the wires in. i know you prolly have a male friend somewhere that has a drill, some drywall screws, and some woodglue, maybe some corner clamps to lend a hand.

it should only cost $50 tops. and you might double your output.

heya, i just talked with my good friend's BF. he does this audio coolness on the side and he said that he'd make me a box for 20 bucks. sound good? he said something like vented with 45 herps? or hurts, can't remember. thanks yah much!

Edit* Just realized the subs are Kicker L7's Do any where from 35-45 hertz but 45 will get really loud

for 20 bucks? is that with material included... cuz if it is, ask wat kinda wood hes using. MDF should be the best. 45 hertz will get loud.
