Should my subs point toward my seats or up?

Well I have a club cab dodge dakota truck and i am about to get a box made and i was wondering which way should i have my subs point? I didnt know if it is better to point toward my seats or up to the ceiling. What is your opinion here? I just want it to sound good.

Could you tell me the pros and cons of the different ways to set the subs up. Thanks alot guys!

ps. The kinds of subs and amp i have is 2 12" JL audio W3 v2's and 1 Diesel Audio 1600.1 amp. Thanks,

Hey man, I have the same truck. Is your box going to be ported or sealed? If you are going ported fire the subs up with the port on the drivers side.

The best setup for a king cab is to build a box that fires them toward each other or build two boxes and use a piece along the bottom to secure them in place facing each other.
