Should I wire these down?

4X 15s in individual 4th order boxes. Subs are single voice coil.

2X hifonics BRX 2k amps. 2 ohm 1400 and 4 ohm 700 watts

For some reason I have thought my subs were 2 ohm subs all along, turns out they are 4 ohm. So at 4 ohms each sub gets about 350 watts if the amps did rated.

Should I wire them in series to 2 ohms?

What are the pros and cons for the subs and amps at 2 ohm and 4 ohm?

4ohm subs in a

pair can only be wired to 2 or 8 ohm.

Why 4 boxes, cause that's how they come and I want to mess around with them and I can take them out if I need the space. The maker/designer of the boxes offered to make me one huge box for four subs but I'm not ready yet for that. I want to play with the sub/boxes for a bit to see what they can do.
