Strange horn noise from speakers

Hi everyone.

I have this strange sound from my car for last 2 months. I installed JBL GTO-3EZ Amplifier + JBL GTO 609C speakers last year and everything was functioning excellent until recently I started hearing this sound trough speakers. The car is Golf 7.

It usually happens once every 2-3 days, few seconds after turning the car ignition off. I even had it 2-3 times while driving. Sometimes it's loud like in the video bellow, but sometimes you can barely hear it. It lasts for ~10sec, and it stopped when I turned on stereo as you can see on video.

Yes, stock headunit and JBL amplifier and speakers added.

I'm guessing your problem is somewhere between your stock headunit and the amp, you must have some sort of line out converter in order to get RCA's in to that amp.

include that next time so we have a better idea of the equipment you're using, what kind of line out converter is it? its very unlikely your amplifier or speakers are causing this issue. it's either your stock HU or your line out converter

it's probably a garabage LOC to be honest with you. I'm by no means an expert on LOC because I never use them but i do know that people report A LOT of problems with cheap ones like you posted.

to confirm it's an issue with the LOC or headunit, next time the noise occurs attempt to unplug the RCAs from your amp before the noise goes away. if the noise goes away as soon as you unplug the RCAs the problem is the LOC or hu, if the noise persists it's a problem with your amplifier
