I have infinity reference 4X6 plates for my rear fill. Should i attach frequency capacitors to them? Like say 80HTZ so that they dont play below that freq?? Or not worth it?

Do you have no other method of filtering out the subbass frequencies other than some sort of PAC bass-blocker?

they are conected to the headunit and i cant figure out the freakin way to filter them out so yeh i guess i have no other way. And if i get a bass-blocker what freq should i get for them?? 80HTZ?

well, if they are distorting becuase of trying to play lower than that then yes, but if they are playing just fine i see no problem with it.

If you're driving them with the head unit and it has no built-in filtering then I'd say yeah, get some bass blockers. What frequency to get will depend on where the speakers play to comfortably in their current install and I have no way of knowing what that may be in your car. 80Hz is likely a good starting point, though.

don't play those at 80 hz. lol. if you must use them you should hp them at like 200 hz. that little 4" isn't made to play down to 80 hz.
