I sold my two 15" dual 4 ohm L5s today....and im ordering L7s tonight. You think I should order dual 2 or dual 4? Be hooked up to my kx2500....i was running it at 1 ohm with my l5s.

With the dual 2 I could run 2 ohm for daily then 0.5 ohm for comp, but I would have to take the subs out everytime to rewire them for comp....and i prolly wouldn't get as many watts for daily.

So what do you guys think?

I hope the L7s are so much better than the L5s like everyone claims them to be. I had the 2005 model L5s and im getting the 2006 model L7s.

Well I ordered them today. They will be here this friday!

I just hope it was worth the upgrade.

I honestly dont see how the L7s can get louder with the same amount of wattage over the L5s, aren't they basically the same subs just the L7s can handle more power?

I sold a S15L7 to some guy who replaced the S15L5. Same box, direct replacement, he said a large difference in output. Not sure why, I didn't expect it myself. This was on a JL 500/1.

Yeah thats what I dont understand. Doing just a direct replacement I dont see it getting any louder. I just see the L7s handling more power and longer amounts of time.
