yep, it's a different type of bullet

they expand upon impact causing more tissue damage

hollowpoints are much more dangerous... the cavity created is larger also, bleeds more etc etc, i'm just glad it wasnt one of those.

yea, i was in a private residence, but still, they will find all kinds of stuff to charge me with. i'm going to try and fight it at court, but that doesnt mean anything... i'll get what i'm supposed to i guess.

People kill. Some of you need to get some common sence, if people keep talking like this guy, there will be no guns for us to have in 20 years....

A bad decision made this happen, he should have, like he said himself, unloaded the gun and clip from the gun, and then passed it around. First

thing(s) you learn in a gun safety class:

Always keep the "barrel" pointed in a safe direction.

Always treat a gun like it is loaded.

ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

and etc....

Just tough luck for him. sorry to hear about that man, but like you said yourself, you gotta be a little more careful next time.

I love how you weren't sure how it got loaded but a few posts up you said you loaded it.

On the one hand, it serves you right, drinking (even a little) and playing with guns as a night out with the boys is not exactly going to get you into Mensa.

i unloaded the hollow points just before going over, and put in full metal jackets, i'm atleast glad i did that...
