I have a friend that does this to impress chicks and some way, some how.............................it acutully works. Dude looks like Frankenstein at certain angles. Was in a bad car accident, but uses the line " Yeah I am a cage fighter and have never lost, but been in some crazy long fights. That is why I have these scars." Shit works everytime, lol!

Looking at my .45 at a glance you might think there is a safety but that lever is a decocker ~ the gun has no safety.

But - as you lot were drinking and not particularly paying as close attention as you might otherwise have been I reckon you're lucky the gun wasn't inadvertently pointed at your chest or your head or somewhere much more crucial to continued involuntary functions.

That sucks, hope you heal soon.

My step dad shot himself through both legs with a .44 loaded with hollow points about 4 years ago. He was bear hunting in northern wisconsin, went back to the cabin for some food and to go to the bathroom. Didn't take his .44 out of its holster before dropping his pants, gun fell out, hit the ground, shot him through both legs in out in out. Blood everywhere, called the ambulance, was in shock, told them the wrong address, had to drive himself to the highway in order for the ambulance to find him. Luckily he didn't hit any arteries, or bones either.

i unloaded the hollow points just before going over, and put in full metal jackets, i'm atleast glad i did that...
