I did some searching and couldnt find anything to help out very much so I figured that I would post. I plan to do the big 3 here within the next week but am still debating on using 0 gauge or 4 gauge. Being that I can get ahold of some 4 gauge eaisly as well as cheap around here. For some 0 gauge I would have to order, etc.
Although would it be possible for me to get away with using the 4 gauge being that the distance from the negative to ground is about 8-10", alternator to battery is about 2-3ft, and block to chassis is about 2-3' as well. Or is wire length not really a factor when it comes to doing the big 3? I will be running 3 10" l7's on a power acoustik a3000db, and the components on a mtx7402 or kicker 250.2 amp. The total amperage of the mtx is 105 (im unsure of the kicker) and the power acoustik asks for a 150 amp fuse.
