shock sensor on alarm?

how do u adjust the shock sensor on ur alarm...is it the small knob under the dash? i want my alarm to go off from a small knock.

lol...thats the issuse..i dont know what im looking at. i have this small black tiny box with a knob on it.. could that be it? its located under the dash driver side

yes more than likely... does it have a small harness plugged in? with about 3 or 4 wires? turn it just a little bit and see how it is then... and don't hit arm and start beating it right away... make sure to let it sit for about 10 seconds before you test it

lol i was beatin on it yesterday...thanks alot for the help. i will adjust it tommorow i gotta get my battery changed..its dead...thats wut i get for playing my system while the car is not running. im getting the optima yellow top

i have a factory alarm.... does anybody know how many shock sensors there are on a factory GM 2000 alarm and if they are adjustable?

thats probably not the best idea to have the alarm going off for small bumps.
