Shipping subwoofers and box together?

I have found someone that is interested in purchasing my subwoofers and my box and to save on shipping he suggested shipping the subs in the box. It seems to make sense if it will work and will save about $30. The only problems I see are that the box with subs in it is top heavy which would make it difficult to handle and also how would you protect the subs? I guess you would have to put it in an even larger box with packing peanuts but would that be enough? BTW, the box is 30x14x14 and with the subs weighs somewhere aorund 70 or 80 lbs. Thanks.

You dont think it matters that its top heavy? That is my main concern.
