i dunno i dont do it but i read it keeps it sharp? maybe..or slows down the corrosion of the blade or some bullshit..i never did it though..i over keep my blades way too long anyway

lol, i thought you were going to give me a legit reason. i was truly interested. the corrosion thing i can see, but i dont think it would help keeping the blade sharp. i mean, it dulls when you are cutting, so i doubt putting it into a liquid would somehow sharpen the razor. but i have been wrong before, so who knows.

as far as gels and creams, most any gel will work, so long as its decent quality. i have also found dove bar soap, and the razors with the aloe strip work awesome together. somehow the mix of the dove soap, and the aloe created this almost jelly like coating on the shaving area which makes for a super smooth shave even with a cheapie razor.

Dove soap is the shit. I refuse to use anything else.

Their shampoos are good shit as well.

the hairs are too long to shave with razors... gotta use scissors to trim it, or beard shaver + comb, so you don't slip and cut it

i use mach 5 and noxema
works pretty well.

I should shave every other day. I get a 5 O clock shadow a few hours after I shave. I don't shave but once a week usually and have a good scruff going on, but I have extremely sensitive skin and if I shaved every other day, I would break out like crazy!

Oh yeah, I use the Gillette Fusion with Gel shaving cream from them as well.

Mach 3 Turbo, regular Gillette Sensitive Skin foam and with the grain, to get a good shave against the grain I have to go over it like 30 times, but I do have fairly think facial hair. Just out of curiosity, when did you all start shaving, summer before 6th grade for me.

13 for me, lol!

Also I get about 3 months out of my blade before I have to change it out. You clean it each time after your done and they will last.

braun power razor...charges itself, cleans itself, shaves as close as i ever could get with a mach3. takes 1/10th the time and all dry.

I was saying I did it once, and shaved my lip... Hurt really really bad.. lol
