Started with a mach 3, moved onto a fusion. Avon Driven shaving gel. I only shave about once every 4 days. I love having blonde facial hair, barely noticeable. If it weren't for work I probably wouldn't shave.

Fvcks up my face. I used to use razors back in high school, every other day...**** school policy. I haven't used a razor in a couple of year. I use a neck trimmer now, on my neck and upper cheeks, while maintaining a pimptacular beard.

i use gel and Mach 3 razors...doesn't get much better. Other than a Hot lather/straight razor shave

i can attest to the mach 3. the first time i used them, i was like "holy shit, this is a nice razor". i have tried others, and the most notable for being shitty was the Schick brand. they ****ing tore my face up, its like they just placed the razors however they wanted, and let me hack at my face.

i recently bought the new 4 blade shick razor to give them another chance....and let me tell you, i gave up my mach 3's SO fast it was ridiculous. its almost as if there are no blades scraping my face, yet this is THE smoothest and closest shave i can get with a razor. i will stand by the new 4 blade schicks as top dogs.

as far as gels and creams, most any gel will work, so long as its decent quality. i have also found dove bar soap, and the razors with the aloe strip work awesome together. somehow the mix of the dove soap, and the aloe created this almost jelly like coating on the shaving area which makes for a super smooth shave even with a cheapie razor.

oh and i shave against the ****ing grain. i really dont see how anyone gets an even remotely close shave going with the grain, even though every person in the world says to.

the doctor on oprah said it, and then on those make over shows they always tell the guy "also, you want to always shave with the grain not against it. going against it causes blah blah blah". the guys are rare on those shows, but when they are, i always hear it. oh yea, i also seen it on the tyra banks show, that my gf claims to hate, yet watches it all the time.

hmm well i have gotten a bad batch of mach 3's before that would tear my face up. but that was only maybe 3 times or so.

maybe i just got lucky with the 4 bladed schicks, and usually they are just shit quality. i mean the 3 bladed schicks i had ****ed my skin up. i can tell you this though, i have only used 2 of the schick 4 blade razors so far over almost a month period. why you might ask? because i know ill never get as good of a shave as i get with these, not even with my mach 3's that i do love. im trying to get every last drop i can out of these schicks lol.
