shaving with razors?

Nobody taught me how to shave.

I use Edge gel, because I have sensitive skin. I also use a Schick 4 blade razor.

On my face I just go top to bottom, then on my neck from bottom to top, and use plenty of water. Have yet to cut myself doing this and my skin is always nice and smooth.

You have to be very careful, and wash first with hot water.

If you get razorburn (those little bumps), then follow up with a 'with the grain' stroke.

it does around my mouth for sure, that's why i go "with" at first. i only go against if i'm spending time with certain people... i've been told that it scratches.

not if you use a good sharp razor, at least not for me, i always go against...

what about those disposable battery powered ones? that vibrate to "stand the hair up"

it doesn't feel like it's doing any better of a job...

I take a hot *** shower while shaving my face. That helps a lot I'm sure.

never had any issue with skin irritation, but again i only shave once a week or so

I don't like anything "more" than a Mach-3 for razors, although, I typically use an electric as any razor I've used with any cream I've tried still irritates the skin at the bottom of my neck.

i tried those, nothing works as well as my mach 3 with a fresh blade... for me anyway
