SHARP T.V Problem

Hey I have a SHARP brand HD TV and for some reason when I play dvd's on my dvd player a big black block comes on the screen. It happens usually when I use the remote to do anything. It also happens sometimes while I watch t.v. I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and if so how did you fix it? If needed I can take a pic of it happening.

Strange...i just got the Sharp 46" 1080p on Friday and the screen will go black for 1 or 2 seconds every hour or so while im playing 360...gonna call them and ask what the dealie iz y0.

Yea I think I'm going to call them. It's not that huge of a deal to me because it goes away but it's just annoying to have to keep turning my tv off and on again to get rid of it. It's one of the ones verizon was giving away for free as part of one of their promotions.
