I know of a few shallow subs. I've got my two Mach 5 SPL-12s. but if it turns out I cannot afford the batteries or something happens I might end up doing a in-cab sealed enclosure in my truck. Either two 12s under the window line or a wall of 4 12s sealed.
I know of the ....
RE SL
Stereo Integrity BM (I think)
Kicker CompVT
Pioneer Shallows ( I do like Pioneer but I hate the cone design, looks like a table saw blade)
What else is there? I have a 94 GMC Sonoma regular cab.
I was looking at some shallow mounts from some company, can't remember for the life of me what they were, but where the dustcap usually is, there was a horn shaped thingy sticking out ... sorry I can't explain it well (I have a hard time gathering my thoughts, they tend to wander off and **** me over)but I'll know it when I see it.
And JLs shallow sub is out of the question. Too expensive. I would only ever use a JL product if it was half price or if I won it. Just costs too much IMO.
