Shallow sub w/ large airspace?

I am trying to find a shallow mounting depth 10" subwoofer (less than 5") that requires around 2.5-3 cubic feet ported. Most of them that recommend that much airspace require a much deeper box. Thanks.

why does the box have to be that big?

you could probably do 2 in that space.

My boy used the Premier shallow mount the whole speaker is like 4.5inches and the mounting depth of 3.25"s. Had them seal they where ok,but just for fun we put it in 3.5cubes tuned to 35hz on a fosgate 360.2 and it wasnt bad at all,got pretty **** loud and had a surprising amount of xmax,pretty cheap too. Also look in to....ah I can really remember any off hand,I think ID has some,Adire may have some.I will do some searching.
