2 properly set up 8s will sound better then 2 sufficated 12s. Its that simple. There are some 8s on the market with the same motor force as there 15 inch brothers. They will but those P3s to shame. Its about maximizing the cone are for the real space you have. 2 ported 8s or 2 sealed 10s is about your only options. They will both give you about the same sound.
