the manual should tell you the power output, so should any online resource, the power handling of the sub is already listed for you as well. just dont turn the gain up all the way and stop turning it up when it doesnt get any louder, the alpine can handle everything that amp is putting at it

So would a kicker 1200.1 be a better amp for two of the alpines?

If you don't already have either of those amps, you could buy a better one. Kicker amps are fine, but they are pricey for the power.

I don't have either one of those amps. But I've always ran kicker amps in my vehicles.

I've had kicker and alpine products in every vehicle I've ever had and I've never had a problem with any of them and I've always been pleased with their performance so why would I change to a different brand?

Because they aren't the best stuff out there.

If you ate sardines your whole life, wouldn't that be dumb? Yes, you may be happy with them, but you don't know anything else. Unless you're a seal, try a cheeseburger and some different brands
