i am helping a friend put together a sound system in his new toyota tundra rock worrier. he doesn't have enough room to fit a regular sub behind the seats so he wants to get a shallow mount sub. he was looking at the stereo integrity bm mkiii, i have never heard of them and wanted to see what you guys knew about them.

shallow mounts are good for tight spaces I heard they pound the same as normal subs how many watts are those ,check magnet size, and if you know how big the voice coil is that helps. but i dont know on those subs either but if you check those features i can give you an idea

as of right now they are waiting for materials to go back into production but my friend said he talked to the owner and can get one with a recone. there are a few vids on youtube and it pounds nice, i just wanted to know what other shallow mount subs are out there, and he would like to keep it under 500watts due to lack of power from his amp(polk PA 1100.5)

now you talkin 500 rms?

he wants to run 500, the amp will to 600 but he doesn't want too much bass, just an even system, doesn't want one to over power the other and drowned everything else out.

well the amp probably pushes 250 rms each channel which would be perfect for him theres some absolute 10" subs there 1000 max id say 500 rms a peice get them at sonic electronics there 60.00 a peice. theres also some kickers 10" there like 80.00 a peice there 300 watt rms a peice thats about good cheap shallow subs.

he is gonna run 2 sets of speakers off of 4 channels and the fifth for a sub. it does 125wattsx4 at 2ohms, and 600 at 1ohm on the fifth channel.

the stereo integrity is a shallow in its own class, def one of the better on the planet, the SB acoustics shallow 10 has the best SQ of any shallow I have tested, and thats most of the mass market crap.
