Shallow mount subs

I was curious if anyone can point in the direction of what I am looking for???

I have a 06 f150 screw and can only fint shallow mount subs under the rear bench seat. I have looked around at some of the shallows, but wanted to see if anyone out here had any opinions on them, or reviews???

I want to get the best one, I know that they are fairly new, but any info will help. I like to do a lot of research before I go out and drop a G on my bump.

I've tried the Pioneers and the Fosgates.IMO the RF's are a better choice but take a slightly bigger enclosure.

The pioneers are good, good sound and deep bass for what you pay for them. Kenwood and kicker both make some now too...

elemental designs makes a 10" one and it is very nice installed one in a buddies firebird and i will deffinately be putting them in my truck when i get that truck

I have some Clarion PFW1051 on the way, as well as some ID ID10s, I am going to see which one works better for me. If there is a huge difference between the ID10s and the Clarions then I will keep the ID10s and return the clarions, if i cant tell a difference between the two I will probably keep the clarions, both will probably be inverted since my box is only .7 big and holds 2 subs.

I think im leaning towards the RF's I'll probably go with 2 12"s. I think that they are supposed to handle a little more power than the others.. Does anyone have any pics of the RF subs?

there are, but none of them are all that helpful, most of them are just speculation because not too many people have had experience with shallow mount subs

I have personally responded to about half a dozen of them that were pretty informative.

However, I suggest you look into the new Kicker shallow-mounts. There was a pretty good review on them in the Product Reviews section.

JL should be releasing a shallow line sometime soon. Memphis MCLass subs are great conventional woofers that have a pretty shallow depth, so are the Phoenix Gold RSd.
