SHallow Mount Subs??

Has anyone tried any of the shallow mount subs around, i am thinking of getting some, but they are a little pricy, they are around 130 shipped each, so i can even pick some type-r's or another pair of l5s instead of this, they are going on my extended cab 03 ram, so let me know if anyone has ran this and if they are worth the money,

those PA drivers from tc sounds look good. but personaly i would never buy a shallow mount sub. if your tight on space then just use a sealed box.

I am going to be using a sealed box, but i wanted to go ahead and try the shallow mount subs

I juss need some verification taht they sound good as normal subs,cuz i dont want to buy a pair and then regret it, i know i can put some decent subs under my backseat for that price, but with what i think the shallowomounts can work for i think they should be better juss want to verify, and theyll also take less space inside the box, let me know if you guys have heard any of them taht are out there.
