But anywho..good luck with your set up. It should sound very good. Dont know if it will flex and shake but it should still

sound very good.

Like was said in your other thread, the JL's are not made/designed to beat up a car, but to give you very good sound and output in VERY small

enclosures.

In all honesty, in the end, the ONLY thing that matters is how you like it and the way it sounds to you.

If you like it then screw everyone else's opinion....

as far as an amp for the dcons if you decide to go with them, check out the aq750.

I am going to stick with the JLs it looks like... I can't really afford anything else and no one is willing to pay the full price for these subs even though they are still brand new

Well you could sell them and take a small loss(what did you pay for them??) but still be able to buy

a pair of subs that will get you closer to what you are looking for.

Then again, you wont know what they JL's will do until you try them.

memphis makes subs to be loud and sound good. all of them. jl makes 2 subs to be kinda loud and you dont have them, memphis kills jl for spl on all comparable subs, enclosure comes into play and im sure that was a ported box, your subs cant be ported. apples and oranges my friend. but id loose those jl's and get some good subs, jl, especially lower end jl's are made for people that just want some good sounding bass inside the car not for making the peopel 3 cars ahead of you feel it.

I am looking to at least 370 each sub... I payed 400 for them so I feel that 370 is reasonable....also the only reason I got the JLs was because I am very limited to room in my jeep.. I will try and take a video later to show you all...

but to your self confidence jeep i did hear a tw5 on an HD750.1 and it was actually pretty decent for what it was. will blow those polks out of the water but what you should try to shoot for is the dcon setup with either the zx or AQ 750.1... Now that would be perfect

i lost a friend to JL... thought w3's were going to rattle his neighbors windows... and ya i don't see why that tw5 needs to be that high of a price. ssl and alpine both have competitive shallows to be put up against that woofer and both would be if not as good or better suiting for 90% of their applications than that JL.

O no no no... He sold this stuff a long time ago and bought all new stuff but spent way to much on high power stuff but has no money for electrical now...
