Shallow Mount Subs can do this?

2000 Jeep Wrangler with no trunk space, the trunk is occupied by my custom box for my dual 10" polk db subs... so tell me how do I have said "plenty of room"?

I meant when you upgrade in the future...

Yeah in the future I am just getting one type of sub and probably be all shallows...like 4-6 in the trunk, 1 on each passenger side and 1 under each seat....gonna cost me out my *** I bet....

that's a very bad way to do a design. you won't want some subs here and some subs there for the sake of having more cone area. that's one of the largest mistakes commonly made at the shop level and consumer DIY level. more cone area, be it bigger subs or more of them does not make anything louder in and of itself. could you tell me the dimensions of the box you have in the back now (if it takes up every bit of available room back there). also tell me which way the subs fire (downward possibly?)

That would be a waste IMO... different but a lot more output could be had for less $$$

Hell 2 good 2 10 inch dcons and a good 750 will be all he would need but whatever. Ditch those ****** polks and crunch amp thats more then likely not sending them enough power anyway and just use the JLs. OR sell EVERYTHING and get the Dcons

the box does take up the whole trunk, I can get you dimensions tomorrow along with pictures...its got cutouts and grooves on it so those have to be accounted for... and yes the subs are downfiring

Haze, the polks and crunch were my first system lol, so I dont expect them to have been great...the box though will blow your minds I think....I had it done at frys electronics lmao..the audioshop guys saw it today and were like "who did this for you?" "frys???? no way!?" sad thing is the only quality of that system from them was the box lmao..... how much would that setup you were talking about cost me Haze?

about 600 or less 2 ssa dcons and a (my choice) kicker zx750

and since you already have the box! and wiring!

Sorry man but people know better.. Most folks lose a ton selling JL products. People that dont know any better talk about JLs quality, they sound dumb cause most JL stuff even the loved slash series amps are made in China.
