Shallow Mount Champion

well i do not want to go shallow mount but i do not have the specs on how much room i have to build and enclosure and by the way, my tundra will eat your liddole taco alive....lol i used to own a taco, good but not great...
a taco is great cus its smaller and lighter and more agile but yeah, the new tundras are f#cking psycho beasts...FRICKEN HUGE!!!

personally i'd take a taco cus the new taco's are probably close to the size of the told tundras but the new tundras are just too big for me, haha and honestly just not neccessary for my use...hell, its even bigger than the f150's and other full size trucks...

whatever you do, just do a good job and do that truck some justice...

the choices given should give you a good start..

:fyi:the new tundra has a 5.7L 381hp, 400lbs of torque motor...

but i'd still take your tacoma for many reasons mainly cus i wouldn't have the money nor any real use for that giant beast...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I just got my Exile XTec 10 last week. It has a 3.5" mounting depth and its a really nice looking sub, even nicer than I expected. I still have to fiberglass a box up (I am using fiberglass, because I really need even faction of an inch to make everything fit.), I hope it sounds as good as it looks. Exile is supose to be coming out with a 12" this month.

My question is how shallow of a Sub do you need? I wouldn't use 2.5" - 3.5", if 4.5" to 5" will do. The more room you have the less compromise that went into the design.

20mpg? Is that what the display says, or what you think your getting? Or do you actually know by dividing miles driven by gallons used?

I would be very impressed if you indeed get that number. I know its off topic, but you should always hand calculate. Any other way is not accurate. Sometimes you get surprised at how low it really is.

I am looking at the exile speakers for my truck, either those or I'm going to try to fit an 8 in somehow. BTW... I have a real truck. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif F-350 diesel 6 spd. 4 inches of lift and 35's.

The new Silverado still won Motor Trend's Truck of the Year and beat out the new Tundra in a head-to-head. And they very rarely pick domestics over imports.

Yeah mine averages 20mpg ...Not bad considering its riding on 20's...lol...I've had it a little over a year now and it has 8000 miles on it...It is a nice truck with plenty of power...most of my driving is city driving...I'm sure it does even better on the hwy...When ever I get gas I always divide the miles driven by the gallons ...I usually get about 400 miles to a tank...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
