Shallow mount 6.5" Comp set with "braxial mount" for tweeter

Is there such a component set out there? I want something that performs just as well as my cdt ef-61's or maybe better. I can NOT fit big speakers in my doors and my kicks won't work well because they get in the way of me pushing the clutch in on my car. I have got to put the speakers in the factory location. Anyone??

Well, we'd need to know your budget and actual available mounting depth (and if you have room for spacers).

But, you can just use some metal straps to "braxially" mount the tweeter of any component set. Not hard to do at all.

I have around $200 to play with. I'm not sure of the mounting depth on the cast euro frame ef-61's I have now, but they are about 1/2" too deep. There is no room for a spacer.

chrystal has a new set out dunno how deep it is though looks pretty sweet

CDT has a neo EF set coming out with a 2" mounting depth. My viper components are only about 2.25" deep, model number for those are 550.2 for the 5.25 and 650.2 for the 6.5.
