shallow box thinking sundown

hey i have a little del sol im trying to add a little something in. i have 2 truck boxes mounting depth around 5.25" .71 cubic feet of space. i have done a little research and am leaning towards sundown sd's 10". i have a kenwood amp 2 channel that runs 100 watt rms. will upgrade the amp later but would like to get started with the subs.

so should i get the sd d2 or d4 and would this sound good or not. looking for opinions or better idea's let me know what you think.

also have a friend that has a class d mono something around 750x1 2ohm and also has a 2 channel pussing 300x2 at 4 ohm that i might buy. what ones would you suggest? i just dont want to mess it all up when i could have done something better and this is all happening spur of the moment type deal.

well fellers thanks for the help i guess im going to go with a hifonics glx1400.1 and 2 sd-10 d2 as there is no reason to run them on 1ohm. 2 ohms will max them out on the rms and will be less stressful on them i believe. going to purchase all tomorrow. unless i can hear some valid reasons not to and do it a different way. these are going inside the cab of a del sol so should be plenty loud. currently have 2 alpine e's on 100rms each from a very old install but when i put them in the sol cause i was tired of hearing nothing good so i used what i had. the small enclosure made them sound horrible and after 2 days this is why im in such a hurry to upgrade. went from going to do a install that should only cost about $100 for the boxes so made it sound reasonable with the gf. to new boxes, subs, and amp..... shhh. hope this does the trick. please feel free to share.
