it looks a lil ghetto right now but once im done it will be sleek. now the question is how should i face the boxes the ports are on the same side as the sub just more towards the seat.

should i

A. leave them how they are.

B. flip the boxs so the ports are facing the rear window and subs are going towards the back seat.

C. put the boxes on their sides so the subs/ports are facing each other.

leave them alone.

suv's have shown sub up+port up and sub up+port back are the best.

this is a general rule of thumb and there are exceptions.

hmm well i was just messing with it and i put the ports toward the back window and it sounds alot better... so i guess im gonna leave it at that but i might just put the speakers facing eachother tomorrow to see what happens for shits and giggles

and yeah i have a pioneer headunit. subs tuned to 34 hz. what should i put the equalizer at to tweak it right now everything is at zero

dude you may want to build one box instead of trying to shove 2 in there,,,just my honest opinion

i would build one big box, but sub up port up, or sub up port back are usually the best in suv applications

well i think i found my boo boo out i was going through sketchup then the tuning calculators and it seems like i forgot to factor in sub displacement omfg. so yeah im gonna invert the subs and redo the wiring real quick and see how it goes
