well after long deliberation.. i have finally decided on a setup....(2) 15" Tempests with 600 watts to each driver, in a 2.0 cubed box (each). squeak let me know that these were Dual 8 ohms and 2 of them would wire down to 2 ohms with no sweat... TY Squeak

Whoa, you're doing things opposite of how they should be with those Tempests. Tempests don't need that much power, but they'd like more air space than that. What made you decide on that setup? Maybe you should meet me sometime at my house to actually HEAR the things ya know? My brakes are fuc*ed up so I can't drive the van until I fix it.

well to be honest the tighter the box the higher the powerhandling so 600 watts should be fine with 2.0 cuft sealed....

naw naw... adire's site says about 2 cuft. per sub. they are rated 750 RMS per driver... i have 1200 total. i'll be giving each sub 600 watts. it should be perfect in 2 cubed sealed. eDead is coming around the middle of december.

What made you decide on that setup?

squeak gave me the idea for it... it is around the 300$ budget i had.. i love the idea of 2 15's, they wire down to 2 ohms perfect and that is what my amp is 1200 watts at. lol tell me where you live at in a PM or something and once i get on unlockdown i will drop by

Oh I'm perfectly aware of the fact that a smaller box increases the mechanical power handling. A larger box would increase the low end extension and efficiency of the sub, however. I live in Andrews, lemme know whenever you're not grounded and I'll give you my exact address.
