Settings on Kenwood DVD Headunit?

I have a DDX712 Headunit and there are some sub/bass adjustments that are unclear to me:

BMS Amp Bass....should I do anything here or leave it at 0db

BMS Amp Freq..which one normal or low?

Subwoofer Level...seems like the bass boost function

Then under the tone settings there are(these are not crossovers)

Bass Freq

Middle Level

Treble Q Factor

Any adjustments on these?
