Setting the Gains on my Amp "pic of dmm*

Ok sorry for my complete ignorance.

What setting do I turn it to, and which holes do I put the black and red leads in.

I've already determined my amp is 1000 watts at 1 ohm so my voltage is like 32.6

Voltage

and put the probes on the + and - of the amp output. I usually just put it on the screws.

Thanks but which one of those symbols are voltage.

Also i know where the leads go on the amp, im talking about the holes on the DMM

Plug the black probe into the center, and the red probe into the right. the set the dial to ~V (the first tick).

far from ignorant. Some DMM's are different and majority of youtube videos **** because

1) the guys explaining sound like they have ***** in their mouth and you cant understand anything they say

2) they dont visually show you the symbols, not everyone knows what those mean
