Setting gains with Sundown and DD 9515

Well i set my gains by ear and dmm i have a 2 1500ds and a 9515. Once i hit around 65v it is still a clear sounding 50hz tone but once i raise even the littlest amount it completely change the tone yet be louder. That is clipping correct? But would 2 1500ds clip at that range and im using the dmm at both positive speaker outputs where the woofers are. Woofer and amp had a very very slight temperature raise after 15 mins of playing like this while testing.

What is the final resistance? 2 ohm? 1 ohm?

according to this calc im doing 4200 watts on 50hz should i back it down?

Yeah, that's why I was asking. That may be a little much. That's asking each amp to run at 0.5 ohm and do over 2kw at whatever volume you set the gains at. I would back it down a bit, but you may be fine.
