Setting gains for USX800D with a RF HX2@2ohms

I have a RF 12" punch hx2 and i just got a USX800D. The amp is rated at RMS 600 watts and my sub is rated at RMS 150-500 watts. How would I adjust the gain on this amp for best performance?

set gain to lowest...

raise your hu to the limit where you think youll take it...

slowly raise the gain on your amp... if you hear a bit of distortion, turn it back slightly down...

you might want to turn it a LITTLE lower... a little LESS poer is better than a bit OVER power, to be safe...

but I'm sure the subs can take it... they are RF's after all, they are rock solid...

Well said, its a great amp, will put out more than what it says like your sub.

Yes all USX amps are rated @ 12.4volts. So expect around 700-800W @ 2ohms (when the car is running)...
