Set on 12" XXX.. what amp?

Made up my mind... I want bass! But I dont want to go bigger, because a bigger amp is needed and I dont want to stress my eletrical system too much.

Will port it to RE's specs.. maybe a tad bigger. But what amp? I originally wanted a PPI PCX 1500, but then seen the Tsunami's. Then digged a little deeper on Class T amps, and many were having problems.

Dont want to go insane and buy a $1k amp, but willing to spend up to $600.

Depending on the vc configuration, I have a Cadence A7hc that does 1200 x 1 @ 1ohm. 95% efficiect....that's hard to beat. Let me know if your interested.

Anyways, done some research on the new Cadence ZRS-10. Claims 1500w @ 2ohm.. but from looking around some others have said its underrated, and the more likely number is 2500w @ 2ohms max.

Overkill? Yes. But one day Im sure XXX 15"s will make their way into the trunk.

Heres another idea, if you going to get a dam n amp you might want to see what type of load you can handle, 1 ohm 2 ohm, makes a huge difference.

Try looking at the Hifonics 1500D its well under 400.00 and will do 1500 watts to that sub... There are more than a handful of people on here who have RE subs on that amp and are really happy...

i must agree that this has been asked so many times. A hifonics bx1500d fits a XXX perfect and cant be beat for the price. Find it on ebay for under 300 bucks

Heres a thought, does it look like i care if your MECP certified. If you MECP certified wouldnt u think u'd know what kind of amps are out there.

Food for thought, Ive been here for about 1 year and 6months, and it just gets frustrating when the same question gets asked over and over and over and over and over and over, thats why all the vets are leaving this forum, instead of the all the intelligent posts we get posts like these. Not saying its not intelligent its just been posted probably 20+ times. This forum in probably the past 6 months has gone from a really pimp site to almost a crap site at that. Also if you went to the Amplifier section you would have seen a sticky that says 1000+ watt amps, another way to "search". Just search before posting.

Just before you post now, search if you cant find a thread then make one.
