Where can i find a stronger tensioner for my 08 jeep GC 3.7L? Any online stores?
it moves its weak. it makes my car shake, low output on my alt. floting voltage, belt sliping....eh the OEM one is probably the strongest one you're gonna find. why do you need a stronger one?

thanks, and the belt is newstock is all they make but goodyear brand from cskauto.com has them and they are better than stock. if it is slipping check the belt and see what condition its in.
i have a 2 foot wrench, pull that sucker back with ease. I can do it with one hand and hold it there while i put my belt on.Theres no way stock isnt strong enough.
It took all I had and a breaker bar to get my stock one too move.
Youre thinkning off of the real problem I bet.
What did the Jeep dealer say?
i found a belt 1/2 inch smaller and for the life of me, i could not get it on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ill have to fine 1/4 smaller.... should work. but the tensioner is weak i thinkget a smaller belt or a larger idle pulley. you can even find some washers or shims to jack one accessory away from the block if you have to. I had to do that when every combo of smaller belt was to small or a bigger idle pulley was to big. A few washers from the leftover hardware bucket was all I ended up using
there still look at the car from the window problem not working remember? also told them to look at the tensioner.... its over 4 hours into them looking at it. this is not good.....Theres no way stock isnt strong enough.

Ok...how can you say this and than :i have a 2 foot wrench, pull that sucker back with ease. I can do it with one hand and hold it there while i put my belt on. Once the belts on, i let go of the tensioner and dose not go down very much after the belts on.
