ok, so i have finished my box, and i have it tuned to 32hz, my equipment and specs is in my sig, and its tuned too low for my liking, is there a way to raise the frequency now that the box is built and finished? cutting the port shorter really isnt an option because of the way its constructed...

make the port shorter will increase tuning frequency

add something inside to take up more air volume such as pieces of 2x4.

by decreaseing the net air volume your tuning frequency will rise.

that'll work too, but will also give you a more peaked response due to the smaller net volume (but it's much easier to do and it is reversible if you just take the stuff back out)

would balloons work? i was thinking of what i could add... what about some small balloons? would be fairly easy to remove/add to get the desired frequency

balloons? filled with air? how bout bags of sand or something more solid (bricks, chunks of wood, etc).
