ALRIGHT! After the first failed attempt, I sought out to try this again. After mulling over SQMaximas pics and the trunk sticky, a ligtning bolt hit me around 10pm last night on how to do this. So let's get started!

First we see your normal tape job of the trunk. The trunk lid is off, as is the weatherstripping. We'll need that for the next step.

Next we are going to spray glue around the outer edge of the trunk, just outside. We are going to wrap the fleece around the entire trunk...sort of. You will see that the length is too short, but that's alright as I wanted to do that section with chopmat. The lower edges were stapled in with the CRAPPIEST HD STAPLE GUN IN EXISTANCE. OMFG, DO NOT buy the B&D 'Power Shot Pro'.

Next up, we see the resin'ed version of the trunk. Now, I tried a NUMBER of methods to get the holes for the subs juuuust right. After a few unessecary holes, I finally found a method to get it right. I will likley have to do some modification to them to get the subs fitting nicley. BUT, at least I have the opportunity to do so! Much to my chargin, the resin did not fully soak through, but it also gives me an opportunity to stiffen her up.

Welp, that's it for now. Everything took me about 7 hours, but take into account that I have to lug EVERYTHING from the basement to the driveway and back. I finished around 7:13pm, and the sy OPENED UP 20 minutes afterward, lol.

I'll be finishing this little project up tommorow, as it'll be raining here.

Oh, and here is all that was wasted. Not too shabby considering how I use 2x the recommended amount of MEKP

haha ya, that would have been a lot easier. and that front baffle is going to be so weak i would be surprised if it doesnt collapse when you put the subs in.
Um, did you miss the part where I stated I still have additionaly reinforcing to do? Or that fact there is a 2.0cuft. box sitting right behind it?

That'll look really nice if you go the extra mile on the paint and wet sand it a bunch of times //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Well, I'm kind of at end as to what to do there. I am undecertain as to wether of not I want to wrap it in suede, as most of my interior is. Keep the theme going. Or paint it.

Maybe a combination of the two...
