series/parallel

I've been trying to figure out the formula for calculating the resistance of multiple rated units. Such as running two eight ohm subs in parallel, then running parallel with a four ohm sub. I'm thinking that would draw a two ohm load, but I'd really like a formula or something to help. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Well, there is a formula, but don't mix and match different impedence speakers. If you were to wire two 8ohm subs and a 4ohm sub all in parallel, then the 4ohm sub would get double the power of the 8ohm subs. Just not a good thing all the way around.
