table saw.

GOOD LUCK with anything else, really. You just cut them at a certain width apart dependent on the length of the curve and at a certain depth dependent upon the curvature of the curve.

Simple math ;-)

VERY nice work bro.

Let me ask you a question...when you do kerfing like that do you just cut slits in the wood and then it will bend? It seems like even after taking most of the wood out like that the wood still left would crack when you bend it. Also, what do you fill the gaps with and how do you nail it down?

it depends on how thin you cut it.

i have no problem bending it and as long as you dont over extend it it wont break.

experiment on scrap pieces untill you got it.

i fill the gaps with a mix of glue and saw dust or just glue if im r3eally jammin ill use resin and matt but glue works good.

Sweet, thanks for clearing that up for me. How do you attach the kerfed part to the other two bounding pieces of wood? Just glue?

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
