How bad is it to handle kerfed pieces of wood like that looks to be very brittle?and how in the hell do you do that to your ports like that, where it looks kinda like an insert. Where the carpet stops aroud the port.

Just looks as if he did a very good paint job and then added some letters that say pound the sound... Very nice box build!
