Senate passes 800 billion dollar stimulus without 1 member readind the actual bill!!!

I consider myself a liberal because I believe in liberty (to the utmost extremes). A real liberal is essentially a libertarian.
The modern-day liberal is a pick-and-choose liberal....liberal in name only.
i disagree. we might have different definitions of liberal maybe. i'm libertarian in alot of ways, which is far from liberal. i guess the new term for liberal is progressive.

Canada isn't even a real country anyway. This isn't a board game, we aint throwin around monopoly money you know, it real money and its being wasted for what? So our president can fulfill our assumed expectations and hopefully not epicly fail us in the process.

Well, I guess it's a semantics thing. Liberal really does mean being libertarian. The common usage of it now means something totally different.

It's like the word audiophile. What it actually means is someone who loves audio, but it has been so misused that it now denotes some snobby sack of crap with money.

O boroks got some change who wants some? THe voters got what they wanted, now lets see some of that change in my pocket on its way back intot he economy through the g-string of the strippers I tip to see their tits, thats what im takin bout.

You got a bit of a point there. **** wiggers and gangstas wit you obnoxiously distorted but expensive stereos making us poor car audioz folk look like walking sacks of crap with cash.

Here's something I got from a friend in the US (a banker, like me). I've asked him to forward me his sources so I'll post that when he responds.

Like I said, there are definitely things we could improve, but maybe this will be informative for you gentlemen with your pro-US filters turned on.
I have never had problems with Canada when it comes to policy or government. When you guys can do something about the weather the nI will consider a move. Yay global warming!?

Thanks for stopping by. Your input has been immeasurably valuable.
Thank you, I hope you feel like the better man here. Im going to go not count my money that is not in my wallet because I spent it on good ol' American beer and tits. Go count your monopoly money, im gonna go count tits.

Ok ive had my fun back to serious bizness, who gives a rats *** about any of this bs. I know, alot of people do, but, yo live in canada, is your president black, no didn;t thinks so, alright this is gettign old I hope my uncalled for rambling has made you dumber in someway, im outtiii

I don't recall saying anything about population. I am talking about the relative health of countries, and the effectiveness of the government's policies for the public they serve.
Also of interest...you have more GDP per capita than we do.
I wonder if there is a 3 dimension comparison with population, % of GDP spent on healthcare, and health outcomes. I am certain that countried with lower populations are able to spend less as a % of GDP simply because they have less people. Another item, which I am certain about, is a particular's societial choices towards healthy eating, smoking excercise, etc. How to measure those "choices" is incredibly difficult.
