Senate passes 800 billion dollar stimulus without 1 member readind the actual bill!!!

the great thing about doing this on the internet is you readily get conversation outside of your personal region and demographic, which truly lends itself to a better debate
Please don't come in here with your facts and logic, trying to make sense out of this nothingness

you try making sense out of Pelosi?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif California economy is the sixth largest economy in the world and operates at a 49 billion dollar deficit annually...so clearly they are doing something WRONG..according to them spending 8 billion dollars for a railroad system from Disney World to Las Vegas is a good fix LOL

there are a whole slew of democrats who got sweet mortgages. even obama had a shady deal through countrywide. the people running things, are the ones who caused the housing bubble. i like how everyone forgets that the dems called for less regulation, citing that lenders were discriminating against the poor. they all bashed the republicans for not wanting to give poor people mortgages, then when it falls apart, blame the republicans for de-regulating to give loans to poor people:confused:
soo true... NY Times article from 9/1999

http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C0DE7DB153EF933A0575AC0A96F958260

In a move that could help increase home ownership rates among minorities and low-income consumers, the Fannie Mae Corporation is easing the credit requirements on loans that it will purchase from banks and other lenders.
gotta love the Clintons....

Fannie Mae, the nation's biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits.

Or you just need to get more intelligent friends //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I would disagree as well. The great thing about doing this on the internet is you can say whatever you want however you want and do not have to worry about impacting anyone. If you are totally wrong you call them a troll or a noob and you move on still thinking you are the king of all that the light touches.

Ultimately, does it matter how unhappy anyone is or isn't with the bill? It has been done, by the people who were elected by the most votes. Therefore > is > you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

why do I have to speak to some dude named John Smith who is actually in New Delhi India when I need customer service for my PC or Credit card? What the hell Americans can't answer a ****ing phone? Don't give me that horse shit! We catch salmon in Alaska, ship it to china to have it processed then ship it back to sell it in our market. If we pumped $800,000,000,000.00 into making resources available right here in America, I am sure good old American ingenuity would figure out a way to over come. You think the Chinese give a shit about fair trade, they are taking care of China, as Mexico is of themselves.
Uh, did I say ALL services and goods ?No ...

I'm talking steel fabrication, lumber, etc. which the US does not have the resources to fully support long-term that were being discussed in the bill.

$800 billion won't make resources suddenly appear out of nowhere.

I mean you no personal offence, but that attitude is exactly why were in the state were in, we can be friends across the borders, but don ever think the US needs Canada. What do you guy have to offer other than hocky, bottled water and timber? Why should you have any say in our policies? we can totally do with out you if it came to it, you however can not do the same.
Wow, that's the most retarded statement ever.
Let's see ... Food, water, power ... Yeah, you guys don't need ANY of those things which you heavily RELY on Canada for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Not to mention that we have a lot more resources in the form of minerals, metals, timber, etc.

Take your head out of your *** ... The US DOES NOT have the resources to self-sustain its current population, nevermind the fact that it's growing, long-term ...

You guys need us, whether you want to admit it or not, and we need you ...

I'm not saying we should have an official "say" in your policies, but don't be surprised when a Canadian voices his or her opinion about US policy when we're so closely tied together.

Above all, we need Canada for Aluminum. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Huge amounts of power is needed to make plate and they do it well.

This country is a corrupted ****ing joke. I'm tired of being pissed off about it though. I don't vote and I never will. This is why.
Re-reading that, I do not think the sarcasm meter would have gone off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif **I edited, not what you put**
