The US still doesn't have the resources to make widespread, self-sustaining production of many goods and services possible these days, anyways. It makes more sense to import the finished goods in those cases rather than force a short-term solution that will drastically increase internal inflation and diminish trade relationships.

why do I have to speak to some dude named John Smith who is actually in New Delhi India when I need customer service for my PC or Credit card? What the hell Americans can't answer a ****ing phone? Don't give me that horse shit! We catch salmon in Alaska, ship it to china to have it processed then ship it back to sell it in our market.

If we pumped $800,000,000,000.00 into making resources available right here in America, I am sure good old American ingenuity would figure out a way to over come. You think the Chinese give a shit about fair trade, they are taking care of China, as Mexico is of themselves.

Considering Canada's economy is heavily dependent on the US as we are each other's #1 trading partners, I'd say it's quite reasonable that we Canucks would voice our opinion over US economic policy.

The war hasn't gone great, that is true, but if you got the media and the politicians out of running the war, and let our bad *** military do what tey are traind to, we could do "walk about" kick some serious ***, and come home! but no, we need to send bombs that will kill only the person that is standing 4th in line at the local open market, without any other casualties. that's why it cost so **** much, we have to use bombs that cost $500,000 each when the enemy uses home made bombs that cost $50.

I never said I was, but if everyone in the higher ranks of the military cant figure it out why are they there, shouldnt they have had some formal idea about this before they started the war, they knew it has to end some day. True the media and politicians need to realize what war really is, but most of these people cant/dont want to realize that terrible and alot of the times immoral things go on in war.

we're already there. our government knows it, so they will try to spend their way out of it, just like we did in the 30's. just as japan did in the 90's. neither worked. problem: we've shipped our means of production overseas. it'll be very hard for us to produce our way out of this one.

We have parts at work that we used to run all the time on my line getting shipped in from mexico already plated to get painted on another line downstairs, we dont even get 30 hours a week anymore, we were averaging 55-60 hours a week for about 7 months straight when I started 2 years ago.

Ill support the economy by buying as many US made products for my next sound system as possible

When your the big dowg, who cares. No offence, but we take care of us, that is what we have forgotten how to do. We need to take care of home first then help the world, not the other way around. If the big dog gets to fat and lazy the smaller dogs will becoem the alpha, it is that easy!

wrong, we need to have people that we can sell products to, and we need to stop buying so many products from abroad, therefore balancing out the deficit. it is way to out of wack!
