Secondary Battery Question

Would one XS power D3100 be sufficient for one 12 @ 3000wrms with a 90a alt? There's no option to upgrade the alt. I talked to mechman and they said on the 2017 Hyunadi Tuscon no manufacturer will make them for this car. Right now I have a 12" with no secondary battery running around 2000wrms on the 90a alt with a bit of voltage drop it drops to 13.9 when I'm driving with heavy bass and about 12.8-13.2 at idle. With the system off My voltage sits around 14.2-14.3

your going to need around 300AH in batteries.. 90A alt is killing you. If your turn up the gain, your going to poop your 3k..

IDK about your car, but maybe you stock alt can be rewound for more output??

put the amp in with the 0 gauge and the big 3 and see what happens, if you get too much voltage drop below 13v add the battery. the battery wont do much for you above 13v besides the surface charge
