Never ever ever ever listen to anything consumer reports says. All of their "testing" is usually skewed because of brand interactions.

The Ford/Mercury thing that happened a few years ago and the baby car seat scandal a few years ago come to mind.

I just put a Platinum 35 series in my car a few weeks ago. So far, so good.

Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you don't need to pay for re-badged batteries to get the same performance (hint: Stinger).
