Search bar is not working

I keep getting this message when I try to use the search bar.

connection to localhost:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)

I even tried the advanced search, with the same results. Why am I not able to search anything?

Searched hasn't worked for a while. It's been hit or miss for as long as I can remember. It's been a inside joke for many years. As far as no active mods, that statement isn't true. Not even close.

Ive asked Goob for more power since Im one of the more active mods and also have web dev experience plus own my own set of sites so I can fix shit like this, but it went unanswered.

I've never seen a forum in which the search feature hadn't been working for so long. Without the ability to search I might need to keep searching for another car audio forum to join.
